The laser originated in the 1960s, but its principle was discovered as early as 1916 by the famous physicist Albert Einstein.   Its English translation names are "laser", "Lai Sai".   In 1964, at the suggestion of Qian Xuesen, a famous scientist in China, it was officially renamed laser.   

In just a few decades of development, the application of laser has long run through various industries and fields, including laser marking, laser ranging, laser radar, laser cutting, laser eye correction, laser beauty and so on.
